One Million migrants harvest Europe’s fields, picking the fruit and vegetables that we buy in European supermarkets. Most of them work and live in precarious conditions.

Here are their stories:

Seydou

from Mali harvests Oranges in Southern Italy from December to March.

Bahija

from Morocco picks strawberries in the Huelva region of southern Spain.

Avinash

from Nepal would like to work as a berry picker in Portugal.

Kirti

from Nepal picks blueberries in Portugal.

Naveed und Adil

from Pakistan pick olives in Greece.

Pape

from Senegal picks oranges in Italy- but these oranges are fairly traded.
